Aromatherapy Associations

National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA)

The National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (established in 1991) is the oldest and largest non-profit educational organization devoted to Aromatherapy in the United States. We are not affiliated with any business interest. We are primarily interested in promoting and using essential oils for health and healing purposes. We are a resource clearing house for ideas and information about aromatherapy. We publish a quarterly journal, NAHA Aromatherapy Journal, which includes articles by the world’s leading aromatherapists. Click the name link above to go to the site.

Aromatherapy Interests

United Aromatherapy Effort, Inc.

The United Aromatherapy Effort, Inc. is a non profit organization born out of the September 11th tragedy. The mission of the UAE is collection and distribution of aromatherapy products thru emergency response teams such as the Carolina Emergency Response Massage team (CERMT). During five deployments to New York (November to March, 2001) the UAE/CERMT Team distributed over $5000 worth of donated aromatherapy products and performed over 3000 chair massages in relief centers, councelling centers, and FDNY firehouses. Twenty two firehouses in Manhattan, Bronx, and Brooklyn were adopted and set up with aromatherapy supplies through the Adopt-A-Station Program. Visit the site for complete info, pictures, and audio testimonials! UAE was re-activated summer 2004 after Florida was affected by four hurricanes, then Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and the California Fires of 2007. In 2009 we began supplying the Military in Afghanistan through four Soldiers on the Ground who disseminated our products. NEWS: UAE receives US Flag from Camp Phoenix Afghanistan! Please visit the site and see pics and read about our ten year journey.
