A small two day class designed to build on the skills obtained in the Basic class, including a more indepth study of essential oils and their relationship to mankind and healing, distillation, plants, perfumery, advanced essential oil studies. This class is more tailored to the students and their needs as this is a private class, meaning you have to have either taken the Basic class or have permission from AIA to attend. Therefore the class will address current needs and be more free flowing.

Topics covered: Study of essence in natural environment, botanical families, introduction to aromatic chemistry, study of chemical families, other approaches (e.g., Hippocratic, Ayurvedic, etc.), perfumery introduction, distillation demo.
